DeMar DeRozan & Drake Beef Heats Up Over Jersey Comments

DeMar DeRozan and Drake have gotten into a war of words after Drake taunted DeRozan at a Kings-Raptors game.

The Canadian rapper was in a very highly-publicized beef with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar earlier this year.

Despite having ties to Drake, Former Raptors player DeRozan appeared to side with Kendrick during the beef. He appeared in Lamar’s Not Like Us music video in July – a song with allegations against Drake of pedophilia and sexual misconduct.

Kendrick even went as far to name drop DeRozan in the song, “I’m glad DeRoz’ came home, y’all didn’t deserve him neither,” referring to the fact DeRozan, who previously played for the Raptors, now plays for Californian team the Kings.

It doesn’t look like something Drizzy has forgotten about, since he appeared on the sidelines of a Raptors home game and yelled at DeRozan, “F*ck outta here, pussy”, when he walked by on the court.

It was the evening of Raptors legend Vince Carter’s jersey retirement and the while interviewing Drake on the broadcast, the commentators said it may be DeRozan’s turn one day, but Drake didn’t seem to like that.

“If you ever put a DeRozan banner up ill go up there and pull it down myself … shout out to Kyle [Lowry],” he said of DeRozan.

The month after DeRozan appeared in Kendrick’s vid, he said he still considers Drake a friend.

“Drake’s still my man, still my man, none of it changed,” he told the Sacramento Bee.

“It’s so easy to get overlooked and look at it for what it looks like, but at the end of the day, it’s music, entertainment.”

Doesn’t seem like Drizzy feels like same…
