Nikola Jokić is running it back with Serbia.
After Denver’s second-round playoff exit in 2025, the three-time MVP has confirmed his return to international duty.
He’ll be leading Serbia’s roster for this summer’s FIBA EuroBasket campaign.
The full Serbian squad was unveiled Monday on FIBA EuroBasket’s official X account, with Jokić headlining a talented list that includes multiple NBA names: Bogdan Bogdanović (LA Clippers), Nikola Jović (Miami Heat), Tristan Vukčević (Washington Wizards) and 18-year-old rising star Nikola Topić of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Jokić last suited up for the national team during the 2024 Olympics and opted out of the 2023 FIBA World Cup, a decision that drew mixed reactions from fans, especially after Serbia took home the silver medal behind Germany.
Now, with EuroBasket set to tip off across Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia on August 27, the 30-year-old is all in.
The three-time MVP averaged 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds and 10.2 assists last season, carrying Denver to a 50-32 record and the fourth seed in the West.
But the Nuggets’ title defense came up short, falling in the conference semifinals to the upstart Thunder, just weeks after outlasting the Clippers in a grueling seven-game series.
That playoff run came with added drama, as Denver parted ways with head coach Michael Malone just before the postseason.
Jokić is now entering Year 11 in the league and remains under contract with the Nuggets for two more seasons, with a player option for 2027. The five-year, $276 million deal he signed in 2022 made him the highest-paid player in NBA history at the time.
