Giannis Antetokounmpo’s on-court troll of Jaylen Brown wasn’t met with much playfulness on Brown’s end and Giannis has reacted to JB calling him a ‘child’.
The Greek Freak had a bit of fun in the Bucks loss to the Celtics on Sunday. After he hit Brown with an elbow in the head and made the shot, he put his hand out as if he was going to shake Brown’s hand and then did the classic fake out.

After the game, Brown was asked about the interaction and he wasn’t amused. “Giannis is a child,” he said.
Antetokounmpo was surprised to hear how Brown reaction after the game and explained he was just having fun and being his usual self.
“Oh, that’s what he said?,” Giannis said. “He said that I was a child. I thought that I complimented him. But at the same time, this is why I play the game with fun and joy. I surround myself with young people so I can stay young myself. I try to be around my kids a lot, my nieces, and sometimes when I am on the court, I play with stuff like that. But, as I said, I think he’s an incredible player, but I am just going to continue to be me.”
The Bucks forward was very complimentary of Brown, despite his comments.
“I think he’s an incredible player,” Antetokounmpo said. “I’m just going to continue to be me. And at the end of the day, if I’m called a child, so be it.
“I just try to go out there and have fun. But again, [he is a] great player, great competitor. If I have another opportunity, I’ll do it again.”
The Bucks’ woes are turning into a bit of a joke around the league, since they are 2-8 to start the season and last in the East.
The 113-107 loss was the second time the Bucks have blown a 15-point lead this season.
“We can’t sustain,” Bucks coach Doc Rivers said. “The Cleveland game [also], we came out like gangbusters, and as the game goes on, we just don’t sustain our play.”
