Chris Paul Reveals Why Scott Foster Hates Him

Foster Paul

Chris Paul and NBA referee Scott Foster continued their long-standing beef after Foster ejected Paul in a sensational manor at Footprint Center on Wednesday.

It all started when Paul was called for a foul against Kevin Durant late in the second quarter.

Seconds later, Paul was hit with a technical foul and was jawing at Foster because he was unhappy with the calls.

The pair got into a heated argument, where CP3 called Foster a bitch and was swiftly ejected.

After Golden State went down 123-115, Paul explained why him and Foster have so much hatred towards each other.

“It’s personal,” Paul said.

“We had a situation some years ago, and it’s personal. The league knows, everybody knows. There’s been a meeting and all that. It’s just a situation with my son.

“… I’m OK with a ref talking, saying whatever. Just don’t use a tech to get your point across. I’ve got to do a better job making sure I stay on the floor for my teammates. That’s that.”

Foster maintains that he made the correct call by ejecting the now-Warriors veteran.

“What was Chris Paul upset about that led to the initial discussion?,” He was asked.

To which he replied, “The foul called against him at 23.5.”

“Why was Chris Paul assessed the first technical foul?”

Foster says it was “for unsportsmanlike conduct.”

“How did Chris Paul escalate the situation to be given a second technical foul, leading to his ejection from the game?,” Foster was asked.

His reply, “He continued to complain and received a second unsportsmanlike technical foul.”

The referee definitely has the upper hand in the pair’s feud, since Paul is 2-17 in the playoffs when he has called the games.
