Pat Beverley Calls Out KAT After Wild Warriors-Wolves Scuffle

Beverley KAT

Patrick Beverley isn’t happy with his old Timberwolves teammate Karl-Anthony Towns for his inaction during a wild scuffle in Tuesday night’s Golden State v Minnesota game.

Pat Bev thought that KAT should have leapt to Rudy Gobert’s defense when Draymond Green was trying to choke him out.

“Man, I seen Draymond choked the shit out of a motherf**ker today,” Beverley said on The Pat Bev Podcast With Rone. “KAT bogus as hell…and Ant [Anthony Edwards] was back there too, like for real, you see somebody choking your teammate out, it would have been a choking line. Every motherf**ker would get choked.

“Draymond knew too. I know Draymond, Draymond knew, ‘Ok, yea, this the moment right here.’ Don’t nobody like Rudy anyway. That was a perfect moment to do it like f**k it ‘Let me choke Rudy ass.’ You know Draymond going for the biggest motherf**ker. That was very strategic how he did it.”

Towns looked as though he was trying to keep the peace when the melee happened two minutes into a scoreless first quarter of the game.

Things kicked off when Klay Thompson grabbed Jaden McDaniels’ jersey, who ended up ripping Klay’s.

Gobert went for Klay as well, which is when Draymond ran in and choked Gobert from behind.

In all of this, Beverley thinks that Towns wasn’t there to protect his big man Gobert.

“I see KAT make a mean mug face, but then you ain’t doing sh**. Choke Draymond back,” Beverley said. “So now, if I’m Draymond, I’m, ‘Yeah, I choked their center and their homies didn’t do nothing. That’s how I’m looking at it. Straight up.”
