There was so much hype about rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama’s debut, and he got mixed reviews from NBA fans.
Of course, it was only the number one 2023 Draft pick’s first-ever game in the league.
He finished the night with 15 points, five rebounds and 2 assist as well as five fouls.
He also came away with two steals and one block.
Until late in the fourth, the Frenchman only had six points and had spent a fair bit of the game on the bench.
He scored 9 of his 15 points in the final seven minutes, as he came alive late in the game and bagged some clutch threes to lead the Spurs to a comeback.
But Luka Doncic sunk the dagger that won Dallas the game.

The first overall pick averaged 19.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.8 blocks per game in four preseason outings, before his debut on Wednesday night.
His next game will be against the Rockets and fellow rookie Amen Thompson on Friday in San Antonio.
