Lakers’ Trade for Sharpshooter May Implode Due to LeBron Agency Lawsuit

Lakers

The Lakers desperately need to upgrade their roster but have run into an unusual complication in doing so.

According to Sports Illustrated’s Howard Beck, LA recently held discussions around acquiring Bojan Bogdanovic and Nerlens Noel from the Detroit Pistons.

Bogdanovic is a deadly sharpshooter who’s averaging a career-high 21.2 points per game on 41.5 percent shooting from downtown.

But a potential deal could be hindered by a previous lawsuit filed by Noel against Klutch Sports, the agency that represents LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Although the lawsuit has been settled, there may still be awkwardness between Noel and the Klutch contingent in LA.

If James and Davis are willing to overlook this, then maybe none of this will matter.

But if they express concerns, the Lakers may opt against the Pistons deal and miss out on a much-needed shooter in the process.
