The NBA is stepping up to help fans in a time of need, with the league announcing it will offer free League Pass until April 22.
It’s clearly a very boring time in sports, and in general, so opening up this feature allows fans to at least enjoy some action, even if it’s archival.
NBA League Pass is usually an expensive luxury that costs fans hundreds of dollars per season.
The NBA is just the latest in a long line of businesses to offer some goodwill and attempt to relieve the boredom that millions of quarantined people are enduring worldwide.
At this point, no one knows when the NBA is going to start up again.
The earliest return date appears to be some time in June.
But even if that happens, the games would take place in small arenas with no fans allowed.
