Ice Cube’s Never-Ending Push To Get Kobe Bryant Playing BIG3

The BIG3 league is littered with recognisable names, but iconic founder and commissioner Ice Cube is determined to add his biggest star yet: Kobe Bryant.

Kobe has resisted those advances so far, but that hasn’t stopped Cube from trying, again and again.

And while the Mamba remains focused on his creative off-court activities, you already know the offers will just keep coming.

“He always turned me down, but I don’t care,” Ice Cube said Tuesday on the Rich Eisen Show.

“Next time I see you Kobe, I’m going to ask you again…

“…He does have a lot going on.

“It may take him another year or so to get the itch, but whenever he get the itch, we here to scratch it.”

BIG3 features a host of notable past ballers, including Amar’e Stoudemire, Metta World Peace, Stephen Jackson and Carlos Boozer.

Bryant, meanwhile, has not played since his final appearance for the Lakers on April 13, 2016.

But if Ice Cube gets his way, it won’t go down as his last game ever.
