Markelle Fultz Has Reportedly Rebuilt His Jumper, Looks Like ‘Completely Different’ Player

The saga surrounding Markelle Fultz’s funky-as-hell jump shot could finally be coming to an end.

According to Yahoo Sports’ Jordan Schultz, Fultz’s jumper has been completely rebuilt, despite looking borderline beyond repair last season.

“Palpable buzz is building around 76ers guard Markelle Fultz,” Shultz tweeted on Sunday.

“One league source privy to Fultz’s workouts w/famed hoops trained Drew Hanlen tells me Fultz’s jumper is rebuilt and that a result, the 20-year-old guard is a completely different, vastly improved player.

“If things bode well, we can almost view Fultz as a marquee FA addition Philly – he can really score, he’s great in P-R, he’s an active/range defender.

“And, if Fultz boasts consistent jump shot, he will open up driving lanes for the arc-avoiding Simmons/be a kickout option.”

Now this could be bad news for the rest of the league, considering the 76ers finished last season at 52-30 and made the second round of the playoffs with hardly any help from Fultz at all.

The former number one overall pick played just 14 regular season games, managing 7.1 points and 3.8 assist in 18.1 minutes per game, before falling out of the playoff rotation altogether.
