The Cooper Flagg one-of-one rookie debut patch autograph card was pulled during a live card break in Rhode Island on Monday night, according to ESPN.
The card was discovered by RhodyBreakers, a division of the Baseball Cards of Rhode Island retail store, while members of the group were opening boxes for customers during a live stream.
It is one of the most valuable Flagg cards to surface and could potentially command a seven-figure price if its new owner eventually decides to sell.
The card features Flagg’s autograph alongside a patch taken from the jersey he wore during the first half of his NBA debut.
That same debut jersey sold for $1 million in February, while the highest price paid for a Flagg card to date is $366,000 at auction in March, according to ESPN.
There is already another major comparison. A similar one-of-one rookie debut patch autograph card featuring Pittsburgh Pirates star Paul Skenes sold for $1.11 million last year.
Flagg personally signed his card during Fanatics Fest last month before it was inserted into the 2026 Topps Chrome Update Basketball set.
The Dallas Mavericks were so determined to find it that they previously announced a massive “bounty” for whoever pulled the card.
Their offer includes two premium Mavericks season tickets for 32 years, a signed and game-worn Flagg rookie jersey, a postgame photo with Flagg, a private photo shoot with his Rookie of the Year trophy and an expenses-paid road trip with the team.
Flagg’s card headlines the first collection of basketball rookie debut patch autograph cards, with fellow Class of 2025 players Kon Knueppel and Dylan Harper also featured in the set.
After weeks of anticipation surrounding where the one-of-one Flagg card would eventually surface, it ended up being found inside a box opened live in Rhode Island.
Now the biggest question is whether its owner takes the Mavericks’ enormous offer, or puts the card on the open market.
