Julius Randle’s Wife Reacts to Shock Timberwolves Trade

Randle

Julius Randle and his family were just as shocked as the rest of the world when news broke that he was traded to Minnesota in a blockbuster deal for Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Knicks will send the Timberwolves Julius Randle, guard Donte DiVincenzo, forward Keita Bates-Diop and a future first-round pick via the Pistons.

Randle’s wife Kendra, has been married to the NY forward for the seven years and has two young children – Kyden (7) and Jaycey (2) – with him.

She took to Instagram to share her reaction.

“Forever grateful for this experience. New York was amazing to our family,” Kendra said. “[Son] Kye Kye grew up in the garden. We got here when he was 1.5 years old and this year he will be 8. So many of you embraced him/us and made this experience unforgettable and I’m forever grateful. Bittersweet moment but so excited for a new, healthy chapter for our family.”

As well, Kendra shared ESPN’s edit of Randle in a Wolves jersey on X.

And also re-posted the heartfelt messages from Knicks fans, including Ben Stiller.

“Grateful for his time here. He is an all star and we’re lucky to have had him. Wish him all the best in Minnesota, he is going to bring a lot of toughness and grit and dedication to that team and community,” Stiller said on X, to which Kendra replied, “Well said thank you.”

Just two days before news of the bombshell trade dropped, Randle was promoting a tour he was going to do in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn with 30 fans and told The Post how people in the street of New York love him, “People telling me how much they love me being a Knick, how much the team needs me. Telling me never to go anywhere. To be a Knick forever.”
