Fans have noticed something quite peculiar going on with Brandin Podziemski.

“No matter how much like Steph you try to act Podz, you’re not him pal. You’re not that guy,” a fan said on X.
“Even his mannerisms are just like Steph now. Very cringe,” another fan commented on the vid.
“He’s thinking, ‘Maybe if I mimic him enough, I will get some his talent’,” another fan joked.
“Podz so deep into the Steph cosplay he’s out here chewing his mouthpiece like he just dropped big points,” another said.
Podziemski signed a five-year $110 million rookie scale extension with the Warriors this week.
And although fans may be hating on Podz, his teammates are happy for him.
“It’s good to see young guys get their due,” Green said. “You see guys come in, put the work in, continue to improve. For BP, he’s been on a team where the guys who are getting paid – sees it. Steph, Jimmy, myself, KP [Kristaps Porzingis], JK [Jonathan Kuminga] when JK was here, obviously a young guy. Moses, younger guy, for to see the path forward to come into this league, find his way as a rookie, continue to improve, get more comfortable with the basketball, get more comfortable shooting the basketball. And to see him get rewarded with a contract, it’s absolutely incredible. Well deserved.”
