NBA World Reacts to Tyrese Haliburton’s Absolutely Insane Game-Winner in G1

Tyrese

Tyrese Haliburton is the most clutch man in the NBA. These playoffs he has delivered time and time again and pulled off perhaps the biggest upset yet in the Pacers 111-110 win over the Thunder in Game 1.

Indiana trailed all game and had a whopping 24 turnovers throughout the game.

OKC looked like they had closed out the game, but the Pacers fought back late in the fourth, as they done most of the time this postseason.

With 0.3 seconds to play in the game, Tyrese Haliburton nailed a three which won his team the game.

Completely insane. He has hit a game-winner in EVERY series this playoffs. Let that sink in.

Hali said after the game on the court, “We just had to figure out how to win in so many different ways all year… We’re a resilient group… It ain’t over until it hit zero.”

Some other crazy stats for you:

-The Pacers have four comeback wins with less than 5% win probability this playoffs:

Finals G1: 3.6% chance, 2:42 left in 4Q
ECF G1: 1.2% chance, :58 in 4Q
ECSF G2: 4.1% chance, :57 in 4Q
East R1 G5: 2.1% chance, :39 in OT

-Pacers are 5-3 SU this postseason when trailing by 15+ pts at any point — no other team even has 4 such wins in the last 20 years of the playoffs. (via Evan Abrams)

-Indiana has come back from down 15 or more FIVE times, the most such comebacks in a single postseason in the play-by-play era (since 1997).
