Anthony Davis Could Be Out For the Season: Report

Davis

Being a Mavs fans this season has been super tough, and it looks like things are going to get much worse with the latest Anthony Davis news from Shams Charania.

Fresh off the Kyrie Irving ACL news, Shams went on to say that AD may be out for the entire season as well.

“I think him, his representatives are gonna huddle up,” Charania said on The Pat McAfee Show. “I think they’re gonna have some very hard conversations. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that one game was the last time we’ve seen AD this season.”

Only nine months removed from a Finals appearance and the Mavs are at a super low point.

Not only are Kyrie and AD out, but Dereck Lively II and Daniel Gafford are also out indefinitely, leaving the team with no centers and without its best players.

And obviously, the Luka Doncic trade was pretty much the catalyst to it all.

Many NBA fans are blaming GM Nico Harrison.

After discussing the situation with Davis sustained, McAfee asked Charania, “This Nico guy gonna survive? He just has a lifetime job?”

Charania responded,  “He’s got multiple years left on his contract. In the aftermath of that trade, I remember I came on here and said we’ll judge this trade in the next few months, in the next few years. This trade is dependent on the Mavericks going far, and they’ve already been to the finals with Luka Doncic, so what else can you do besides get to the finals? Winning a championship. That’s what Nico Harrison and the Mavericks have set the standard of being judged on. And Nico Harrison said we’ll see if I’m right or not. We’ll see.”
