LeBron and Savannah James have reflected on their son’s cardiac arrest that happened in July last year.

Bronny was at practice at USC when he went into cardiac arrest.

The James family haven’t spoken much about the incident and how Bronny has been since, but a scene from Netflix’s show Starting 5 shows them talking about it.

“It was just about us supporting each other and just being super grateful for the outcome,” Savannah said in the clip that was posted to social media.

Her husband, LeBron, thanked all the staff at USC and God for their assistance in Bronny’s recovery.

“Shoutout to the man above,” James said in the docuseries. “To the whole coaching staff, training staff, members of that program.”

The video then shows LeBron introducing Erin, a medical professional to his mum, Gloria James.

Erin was the one who performed CPR on Bronny when he suffered cardiac arrest at USC.

“They are the reason Bronny is alive now and smiling and thriving and doing what any 19-year old should be doing and that’s living out their dream,” LeBron said of the training staff.

“It’s crazy with kids, like when they love something and want something that’s all that matters to them,” he continued. “As a parent, you’re like, you know, ‘You had a cardiac arrest.’ And like in his mind he’s like ‘Can I or can I not play ball again? And if the answer is yes, ‘When can I play ball again?’ I love that.”

Since then, Bronny has been drafted as the number 55 overall pick by the Lakers and in a pre-season game, took the court for the first time with his dad – in what was a historic moment for LA and the James family.
