Freshly Retired Kings Player in Relationship With Sacramento Exec

Former Kings guard Jeremy Lamb announced his retirement from basketball last month, but he’s not going out without a scandal.

He is dating Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé’s daughter, Anjali, who was the GM of the team’s G-League affiliate, the Stockton Kings,  from June 2023

Anjali resigned from her position in January and at the time, “it was reported she stepped away from the position to pursue other ventures”, TMZ says.

Lamb joined the Kinga via a trade in February 2022. He was waived a year later, but was brought back to the G-League in November, where he played under Anjali until he was shut down for the season with a back injury in March.

It is unclear whether the two got together before they both left Sacramento or not, but teams don’t take kindly to internal fraternization. When Ime Udoka was having an affair with a Celtics staffer, he was suspended him for the entire 2022-23 season for violating team policies.

So, one has to wonder whether Anjali and Lamb were keeping their relationship under wraps before they left the Kings.

The couple went public with their relationship in an Instagram post. The post shows them kissing in one of the slides and playing with wolf dogs to promote Anjali’s Jaws and Paws animal sanctuary.

Lamb played a total of ten seasons in the NBA for the the Thunder, Hornets, Pacers and Kings and was a lottery pick in 2012.

“Basketball has been good to me throughout my entire life, so this decision didn’t come easy, but I have decided to retire from the game that has given me everything,” Lamb wrote on Instagram in August. “Now, it’s time to catch another dream!”
