Anthony Davis cannot ever seem to beat Domantas Sabonis. Apparently, that’s just one of the laws of the universe at this point.
Davis is now 0-10 against Sabonis, with the Lakers losing to the Kings 120-107 in Sacramento on Wednesday.
AD finished the game with 22 points, 10 rebounds and three assists on 38 percent shooting, while Sabonis put up 17 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists on 60 percent shooting.
Here’s how the NBA world is reacting to Davis’ seemingly never-ending losing streak against his Lithuanian nemesis:

Maybe it should bother him.

While Davis still hasn’t beaten Sabonis, his head-t0-head stats against him still stack up well.
He is averaging 23.1 points and 10.8 rebounds against Sabonis, while the Kings big man is averaging 13.3 points and 10.6 rebounds against Davis.
This is largely because Sabonis was nowhere near the player he is now back in his early years, while Davis was already four years into his career when Sabonis entered the league.
Meanwhile, due to Davis’ struggles against Sabonis, his record against other star big men has also come under the microscope.
On top of being 0-10 against Sabonis, Davis is also 1-7 against Joel Embiid and has lost his last seven games against Nikola Jokic.
However, he is 12-8 against Giannis Antetokounmpo and 8-5 against Bam Adebayo.
And when it comes to Davis’ losing streak against Sabonis, things could always be worse. Just ask Kemba Walker, who started his career 0-27 against LeBron James.
