Luka Doncic has submitted yet another huge performance against the Phoenix Suns, a storyline made spicier by his rivalry with Devin Booker.

Doncic dropped 41 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists in a 123-113 win over the Suns on Thursday night. Booker finished with 35 points and 8 assists.

Doncic and Booker’s rivalry first got heated when they met in the second round of the 2022 playoffs. The series ended with Doncic’s Mavericks crushing the Suns 123-90 on the road in Game 7, a truly humiliating outcome for Booker and his team.

It was also the series that gave birth to the meme of Doncic smiling at Booker.

Despite his embarrassing playoff mishap in 2022, Booker has more total wins than Doncic in their head-to-head matchups, with 13 wins to Luka’s eight. However, Doncic has a 4-3 edge in the playoffs.
