Steph Curry has taken a shot at Jusuf Nurkic, while praising Draymond Green.
Curry’s comments came after his dramatic game-winner to beat the Phoenix Suns 113-112 at Chase Center on Saturday.
“I know everybody’s going to talk about what Nurkic said or how idiotic that was but just the fact that Draymond knows how to walk the line that he needs to walk, this is probably the best game that you’ve seen where he can be loud and fiery and competitive and jaw back and forth but we’re playing basketball,” Curry told reporters. “If you didn’t see that tonight then you ain’t watching the game.”
Curry was referring to Nurkic saying Green “didn’t learn anything” from his recent suspension, which stemmed from him striking Nurkic in a previous matchup.
Nurkic was less than thrilled after Green got in his face once again on Saturday.

“It’s sad. He didn’t learn anything,” Nurkic said. “Just a matter of time. He’s going to hit somebody else again. Take back everything I said. He don’t deserve a chance.”
Green, of course, was quick to respond to Nurkic’s remarks.
“I thought I was great tonight,” Green said with a smile. “He tried to get in my head, and it didn’t work. If he wants me to walk around quiet, like him, I’m never going to do that. Quiet guys don’t win. “He can keep rocking with that same horse that he rode in on. He can ride his ass right out of here on that same horse. It’s not working.”
The Warriors went 1-3 against the Suns this season, with no further matchups scheduled unless they meet in the playoffs.
