Leaked Audio From Warriors-Timberwolves Scuffle Comes to Light

Leaked audio warriors

It was a wild opening to the Warriors Timberwolves game on Thursday and now some audio from the scuffle which saw Draymond Green put Rudy Gobert in a chokehold has come to light.

Before things got heated, the clip posted by LegendZ on X shows a video of Green and Gobert getting physical while Draymond is guarding Gobert.

Green isn’t happy with the contact and apparently says to the referee, “How is that allowed?”

In the clip you can see Klay starts the scuffle by grabbing onto Jalen McDaniels jersey and not letting go.

Then, according to the clip, when Gobert comes over to separate the pair, Green gets Rudy a chokehold and says to him , “What the f**k is wrong with you?”

When Green has been taken away from the situation he then yells out to Gobert, You’re a f***ing pussy.”

The video also shows how surpised Klay was to be ejected as he appealed to the referee, “How? What the f**k did I do?”

Crew Chief Tyler Ford later explained in the game’s pool report that Thompson’s actions warranted an ejection, while Gobert’s actions didn’t because he acted as a pacifier.

“Both [Thompson and Jaden McDaniels] were involved in an altercation that didn’t immediately dissolve and their actions warranted an ejection,” Ford said in the NBA pool report.

“Gobert was attempting to separate Thompson and McDaniels and was ruled to be a peacemaker. We reviewed all other players and acts and no other unsportsmanlike acts were observed,” Ford said.

He explained how Green’s actions definitely needed to be taken seriously.

“He aggressively puts Gobert in a headlock and refuses to let go. This is unnecessary and excessive conduct which meets the standard for a flagrant foul penalty 2,” Ford said.

Green has since been handed down a five match ban from the league and will lose around $769,00, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Thompson, Gobert, and McDaniels have all been fined $25,000 each for their part in the scuffle.
