After turning his life around following a near-fatal overdose, Lamar Odom is helping others do the same by investing in three drug treatment centers in California, according to TMZ Sports.

Odom is acquiring the facilities alongside Christian hip-hop artist Dontae Ralston and former Hall of Fame skateboarder Dennis Martinez, per the report.

A rep for Odom said the former Laker plans to be “highly involved” at the facilities.

“He wants to help everyone he can,” the rep told TMZ. “He is thankful that he was given a second chance at his life and feels his destiny is to help others.”

Odom also plans to extend his reach beyond his current three facilities.

The former pro hooper was drafted fourth overall by the Clippers in 1999 and won two championships with the Lakers alongside Kobe Bryant in 2009 and 2010.
