Bradley Beal Under Police Investigation After Ugly Incident With Fans

Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal is under police investigation due to a confrontation with heckling fans following a recent loss in Orlando, according to TMZ Sports.

The incident occurred when Beal was walking down the player’s race and a fan yelled, “You f***ed me [out of] $1,300, you f***!”

Beal then turned, approached the fan and his friends, and appeared the knock the hat off one of their heads, according to the report.

They engaged in a heated verbal exchange, with Beal calling the comment “disrespectful.”

“Keep it a buck,” he said. “I don’t give a f*** about none of your bets or your parlays, bro. That ain’t why I play the game.”

The Wizards guard was then ushered into the locker room, but the fan escalated matters when he contacted local police and told them Beal hit him in the head when he swatted his cap.

While there is no available footage of the incident, the police said there was still enough probable cause to charge Beal with “simple battery,” saying “charges will be filed at large with the State Attorney’s Office.”

Beal’s lawyer told TMZ “We are cooperating with the investigation and [Beal’s] name will be cleared soon.”
