OKC guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a taste of his first All-Star game over the weekend, playing ten minutes for Team Giannis.
It was a big step for the 24-year-old, who is averaging 30 points, four rebounds, and five assists on 50.8 percent shooting from the field this season.
He definitely received his “welcome to the All-Star Game” moment when his very first shot attempt was blocked by none other than LeBron James, and safe to say, SGA wasn’t too thrilled about it.

“He wasn’t playing no defense, then the one time I tried to get a dunk, he wanna play defense. So I got something for him next time.” Gilgeous-Alexander told the media, stone-faced.
SGA recovered from the block to finish with nine point in limited minutes.
The Thunder and Lakers next play on March 1 in Oklahoma City, so expect Gilgeous-Alexander to go hard at LeBron.
