There were some tense moments between Portland starting guard Damian Lillard and Lakers guard Patrick Beverley in LA’s comeback win yesterday and it didn’t end on the court.
Following the game, the pair took to Twitter to continue their harsh exchanges, with Lillard calling Beverley a “con man” and Beverley responded with a pointed three-word tweet.
Con man. Flip from above the rim https://t.co/EpKvfyY3VG

It was in the second quarter of the game when things really got noticeably fiery.
Lillard was at the free throw line and his shot was held up because Beverley was giving him so much heat and Lillard was giving it back, saying he would “beat his a**.”
Beverley got a technical foul after the incident but he wasn’t done.
The Lakers outscored Portland 75-41 after halftime and overcame a 25-point deficit, which made the L even harder to cop for Lillard and his team.
Beverley was sure to let Lillard know as he mocked his ‘Dame Time’ celebration.

The opposing guards will get a chance to settle their differences once more in just under two weeks when the teams play again on the Blazers home court.
