Last year’s winner – Portland Trail Blazers’ guard Anfernee Simons – will reportedly not defend his crown.
Anthony, 21, is in the midst of a breakout sophomore season averaging 17.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
Green, 19, was selected second overall in the 2021 NBA Draft.
Toppin, 23, is one of the most athletic big-men in the league.
Toscano-Anderson, 28, has carved out a role for himself with the Warriors after rising up from the G-League.
This year’s crop of dunkers certainly isn’t the most star-studded in recent memory – but it’s not all bad either.
Green – who’s regarded as having prodigious athleticism – will be especially exciting to watch.
The 2022 NBA Slam Dunk Contest is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 19 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
