The Vine St. Community Center is located on Dudley Street in Boston’s historically black neighborhood of Roxbury.

Clarke played middle school/high school hoops in Massachusetts before transferring to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire.

The NBA community – especially those of the Celtics’ organization – mourned Clarke’s tragic passing before the 2021 NBA Draft.

Commissioner Adam Silver selected Clarke to the NBA as a ceremonial pick.
