Anthony Edwards Historic Night

Anthony Edwards’ historic performance Wednesday night wasn’t enough to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves past the Golden State Warriors.

Edwards scored 48 points on 16-27 shooting; 7-13 shooting from three, and 9-12 shooting from the line, to go along with five rebounds and five assists.

“I’m not mad at tonight,” Edwards said after the game, via the Star Tribune.

“Forget the points, just how we was down 20, the way that we fought as a team, overall, I loved that. That gave me energy to keep going. I was tired, man. I was exhausted.”

Former Timberwolves’ #1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins had a huge game for the Warriors, posting 35 points on 14-19 shooting.

The Warriors ultimately beat the Timberwolves by a sizable margin: 123-110.
