The Minnesota Timberwolves introduced rookie guard Leandro Bolmaro to fans ahead of training camp.

“I’m really excited, I’ve waited for this moment for a long time… I’ve worked like crazy to be here,” said Bolmaro, via NBA.com.

“For me, this is a dream come true.”

Bolmaro was selected 23rd overall by the New York Knicks in the 2020 Draft; then traded to Minnesota.

“He guards his position, he guards multiple positions, and he can play well without the ball in his hands,” said Timberwolves’ head coach Chris Finch on Bolmaro.

Bolmaro, 21, averaged 2.9 points, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 rebounds in 30 games for FC Barcelona last season, via Basketball Reference.
