Rondo was acquired by the Grizzlies in the Patrick Beverley/Daniel Oturu deal that sent Eric Bledsoe to the Los Angeles Clippers – but it wasn’t expected that Memphis would keep the 2x NBA champion on its roster.
If Rondo does sign with the Lakers, he’ll join a roster of soon-to-be Hall of Famers, including LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, and Dwight Howard.
Rondo won a championship with the Lakers in 2020; playing a significant role as a ball-facilitator.
The Lakers’ game-plan for the upcoming season is abundantly clear: beat the competition with unrivaled experience.
