Team USA has finalized its “select team” roster in advance of the Tokyo Olympics beginning July 25 in Tokyo, Japan, per Shams Charania of Stadium/The Athletic.

2020-2021 NBA Rookie of the Year runner-up Anthony Edwards, Detroit Pistons’ rookies Saddiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart, and Hornets’ forwards Miles Bridges and P.J. Washington are just some of the notable players on the select team roster.

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra will serve as the team’s head coach; Gonzaga men’s basketball head coach Mark Few and Dallas Mavericks assistant coach Jamahl Mosley will be his assistants.
“This USA Select Team continues the legacy established by previous Select teams of helping prepare our USA National Team for the Tokyo Olympic Games,” said Jerry Colangelo, USA Basketball Men’s National Team managing director, via NBA.com.
The select team will train with (and compete against) Team USA from July 6-9 at UNLV’s Mendenhall Center.
