“I’m in a place here where I’m healthy enough so hopefully I can help somewhat,” Clifford said, via Yahoo Sports.

“But also I’m fortunate — I have a veteran staff.”

Hornets assistant Ty Corbin will coach in Clifford’s absence.

Clifford said he first tested positive for COVID-19 after the Magic’s game against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday (4/20).

Clifford went on to say he tested negative twice over the course of the following days, but then tested positive again on Saturday.

It’s likely the Magic are going to be without Clifford for roughly ten days as he continues to quarantine as part of the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
