Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine is going to miss “several games” due to health and safety protocols, per a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

LaVine – who was an all-star for the first time this season – has been the Bulls best player by far.
In 53 games this season, LaVine has averaged 27.5PPG, 5.1RPG, and 5.1APG on 51% shooting from the field and 42% shooting from three.
The Bulls currently sit in a precarious situation with a record of 22-32 (10th in the Eastern Conference) because they don’t have their first-round pick due to the Nikola Vucevic trade.
Although Vucevic has played well for the Bulls, he hasn’t impacted winning.
The Bulls have only won three of ten games since trading for Vucevic at the trade deadline.
If the Bulls fall out of the playoff race, they’ll be sending their lottery pick to Orlando, which could have serious implications on the future of the Eastern Conference.
For Chicago fans, it may not be high-time to panic – but it’s awfully close.
