The last time we took the Cavs over they played the Pelicans and we were burnt bad by probably the worst shooting quarter in the history of the NBA (not fact checked). The game was tracking perfectly and looking like an easy cover but then the 3rd quarter happened. Cleveland had 9 points in the quarter alone, shooting 2/22 from the field. This simply won’t happen again. They welcome back Garland into the starting line-up who brings some stability to the backcourt and Kevin Love won’t be playing in this game which will please Sexton. Miami are the healthiest they’ve been all year. If they are struggling to score from the perimeter they can dump it down to Bam and play off him. We feel like the Heat alone can push the total to get the over. The 207 mark is just scary low and you can see our confidence in it as we’ve allocated 5 units to it.
THE MID-RANGER

This is a double down on the Heat, it really won’t take much for the team to be able to reach the 120pt mark today. For all the points mentioned in the lock, Miami have the weapons to drop a ton of points. Any number of candidates could go off today in Dragic, Herro, Robinson, Nunn & Olynyk. On top of that, they have a deep bench that can score the ball – so expect plenty of minutes for Gabe Vincent & Max Strus. These two perimeter snipers will play a big part in garbage time to help push the TT above 117.5!
