Bam Adebayo Upraded to Questionable for Game 4 of NBA Finals

Bam Adebayo of the Heat

Bam Adebayo has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Adebayo has been out for Games 2 and 3 of this series with a neck/shoulder injury.

“I’m trying to get back as quickly as possible,” Adebayo said. “They’re just trying to make sure I’m safe and I’m ready to play. It’s really day-to-day. When they say I’m ready to play, I’ll be out there.”

Along with a neck strain, Adebayo has also been dealing with some shoulder issues stemming back from the Boston series.

However, of the two injuries, the neck strain is of more concern to the Heat.

“I don’t miss games. That’s not me,” Adebayo said. “That’s not how I’m built. I want to play. I’ve always been like that.”

In Game 3, Miami managed to win a game behind the impressive 40-point triple double by Jimmy Butler.

Both Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic have been missing from the Heat lineup due to injuries. They have both been critical to the Heat’s postseason success up to this point.

As for Dragic, his torn left plantar fascia keeps him doubtful for the remainder of the series.

In the trenches for Adebayo have been 7-footers Kelly Olynyk and Meyers Leonard. Olynyk has scored 41 points off the bench for Miami.

Game 4 is set for Tuesday night, with the LA Lakers leading the series 2-1.
