George Floyd’s murder is a horrifying reminder of the systemic racism present in our society.
It has not only led to renewed calls for change but wild riots in the streets in Minneapolis and around the US.
Floyd’s death is a tragedy that hits especially close to home for many NBA players, the majority of whom are African-American.
