LeBron James Narrates Nike Film Inspired by Cav’s 3-1 Finals Comeback

LeBron James is the voice of a new Nike film highlighting some of the biggest comebacks in sports history.

The film includes James’own Cleveland Cavaliers rebound from a 3-1 deficit in the 2016 NBA Finals, the first time a team had ever come back down 3-1 in NBA Finals history.

“We came back when we should have been long forgotten,” LeBron James’ voice narrates atop some of the greatest recent comebacks in sports. “And we did it time and time again.”

Sports history is filled with amazing stories of competitors seizing victory from the jaws of defeat.

Along with LeBron’s Cavaliers, the film features the Patriots overcoming a 28-3 deficit in the Super Bowl, and Tiger Woods playing on a torn ACL.

Nike created the film in part to inspire the sports world as it deals with the COVID-19 crisis.

“Right now we’re fighting for something much bigger than a win or a championship,” James narrates. “But if we’ve learned anything from sports, it’s that no matter how far down we may be, we are never too far down to come back.”

Sports in the United States and around most of the world has been shut down since March 11.

As the pandemic continues to wreak havoc, there has been hope, that major leagues like the NBA will return this year.

The league is close to announcing its plan to resume sometime in the middle of June.

South Korea has brought back its baseball league with no fans in attendance.

Other sports are also making plans for games without fans until there is a vaccine or it is determined to be safe to allow spectators.
