Donovan Mitchell is reportedly “extremely frustrated” with teammate and good friend Rudy Gobert.
That’s the word from Sports Illustrated, after Mitchell came down with coronavirus shortly after Gobert’s initial diagnosis.
Before his diagnosis, Gobert had engaged in high fiving teammates and joked about the situation by touching every mic at a recent press conference.
Despite a public apology from Gobert, Mitchell does not sound happy.
In his own update, Mitchell discussed how he hoped this serves as a lesson for everyone.
“Hopefully people can continue to educate themselves and realize that they have to behave responsibly both for their own health and for the well being of those around them,” Mitchell wrote.
Now, SI is reporting that “how Mitchell responds when play resumes could make or break their relationship”.
