The Rockets better hope that speed beats size in this fascinating contrast of styles.
Houston Rockets @ LA Lakers
Friday February 7, 2:30pm AEDT
Last time they met
3-2 (Rockets) (since the beginning of last season)
What you need to know about the game
All the talk about the Rockets this week has been about their striking lack of size.
Clint Capela is a Hawk now and Houston is looking small as hell.
The Rockets now have the smallest starting five in the NBA, with 6’5” PJ Tucker starting at centre.
The Lakers, on the other hand, have one of the largest front lines with Anthony Davis, JaVale McGee and Dwight Howard all on their payroll.
The Rockets will be hoping to drag those big men towards the perimeter and out their comfort zone, while the Lakers will be hoping their extreme size advantage leads to total domination on the boards.
