Giannis Antetokounmpo wasn’t exactly considered a can’t miss prospect heading into the 2013 draft.
It’s easy to see why with a lot of his game footage set in empty Greek gyms, playing in what looked like rec league games.
He was a great unknown, absolutely no one had any idea how good he would become.
But 29 of the league’s 30 franchises still made the trip to Greece to scout him.
The team that didn’t?
The New York Knicks.
This juicy tidbit was revealed in a sneak peek of upcoming documentary Finding Giannis.

The doc, which premiers on TNT on Saturday, promises to be an incredible watch.
Unless, of course, you’re a Knicks fan.
Or one of the 14 teams that passed on him.
