Isaiah Thomas Just Ranked Himself Above Steph Curry And Kyrie Irving

It’s no secret that a big part of Isaiah Thomas’ success is the eternal chip on his shoulder.

You don’t beat the odds like he did without some borderline irrational confidence and a deep-seated belief in your own abilities.

But Thomas took that confidence to the next level when he appeared on Kevin Hart’s YouTube show Cold As Balls this week, an informal gathering of two of the smallest humans in America.

It was during that appearance that he ranked himself as the number one point guard in the league.

Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving will have to settle for second and third place, according to IT, a man who apparently wears a headband at all times.

Despite being initially hesitant to rank the league’s best floor generals, here’s Thomas’ complete order.

  1. Isaiah Thomas
  2. Steph Curry
  3. Kyrie Irving
  4. Russell Westbrook
  5. John Wall
  6. Damian Lillard

And while we probably should’ve seen IT’s answer coming, it doesn’t make it any less insane.

It’d be crazy even if Thomas was at his best, let alone having come off a terrible season which earned him a one-year, $2 million vet minimum deal for next season.

And yet if he ever makes it back to his best, it’ll be because of that same undying belief that he’s that dude.
