You don’t need to be superstitious to believe the Clippers are cursed.
Their 48-year existence primarily consists of crippling misfortune.
That has only continued this season, with four of the team’s opening night starters – Blake Griffin, Danilo Gallinari, Patrick Beverley and Milos Teodosic – all spending significant time in street clothes.
That left DeAndre Jordan as the last man standing.
But with the blood-thirsty injury bug searching for its next victim, Jordan was a dead man walking.
On Thursday night, Jordan dunked on Sacramento’s Skal Labissiere so hard that he injured himself.
Of course he did.

DJ twisted his left ankle upon landing.
He did not return and the Clippers face a nervous wait to find out more.
The big fella nows joins – among others – Austin Rivers, Danilo Gallinari and Patrick Beverly on the sidelines.
Just another day of medical room carnage for LAC.
