Luka Doncic and his ongoing legal dispute with former fiancée Anamaria Goltes has reportedly taken another dramatic twist, with a proposed settlement that carries a massive financial figure.
Goltes has offered to end the case in exchange for a $50 million settlement, according to TMZ. The report claims 80 percent of the money would go to Goltes, while the remaining 20 percent would be allocated to the couple’s two daughters.
The reported proposal also includes another significant request. TMZ reported that Goltes wants Doncic’s parenting time reduced from two days per week to one, adding another layer to an already complicated legal battle.
The latest development comes just days after Goltes asked a Los Angeles County court to dismiss the child support petition she originally filed in March. In the filing, she explained that she hoped to resolve the matter privately.
She stated that she wanted to settle the dispute “amicably and by a mutual agreement” that would serve the best interests of their daughters.
The dismissal request was filed without prejudice, meaning the petition could be refiled in the future. However, the request was not immediately approved because it did not include Doncic’s signature.
The legal battle has centered around where the case should be heard. Doncic’s legal team has argued that California is not the proper jurisdiction because neither he nor the children live there. The children reside in Slovenia, where custody and financial support proceedings had already begun before the California filing.
Earlier this year, Doncic addressed the breakup publicly while emphasizing that his priority remained his children.
“I love my daughters more than anything and I’ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the U.S. during the season,” Doncic said. He added that those challenges contributed to the end of the engagement and that he would continue fighting to remain an active part of their lives.
