Steph Curry Gets Worse Whistle Than LeBron: Draymond Green

Green

After some comments from JJ Redick about who gets the worst whistle in the game, Draymond Green couldn’t help but pipe up.

The four-time Warriors chmapion had one question for Redick after the Los Angeles Lakers coach’s most recent comments about LeBron James

“The only thing I can say to that is has he ever watched Steph Curry play?” Green said on The Draymond Green Show podcast. “Um, is Steph Curry considered a star player? Because I got nothing but love for ‘Bron, but if Steph Curry is a star player, which I think he is, no one gets a worse whistle than Steph Curry. So gotta disagree with JJ there.”

Green’s comments were in response to Redick claiming that LeBron has the worst whistle ever after the Lakers’ Game 2 125-107 loss to the Thunder.

“LeBron James has the worst whistle of any star player I’ve ever seen,” Redick said in the postgame. “I’ve been with him two years now. The smaller guys, because they can be theatrical, typically draw more fouls, and it’s harder for bigger players built like LeBron. But he gets clobbered, and he got clobbered again tonight a bunch.

“That’s not a new thing or specific to this crew or this series. He gets fouled a lot that doesn’t get called. He gets hit on the head more than any player I’ve seen on drives, and it rarely gets called.”

It’s definitely true that both players have been hard done by when it comes to getting the foul call at times.

Hard to say specifically who has had less calls over the years. We’ll let you be the judge.
