Steph Curry Reacts to Warriors ‘Interesting’ Schedule

Curry (12)

Steph Curry is set to enter his 17th NBA season, and the four-time champion is already circling dates on the calendar.

The Warriors star admitted that the grind of the 2025-26 schedule stands out from past years.

“You take a good amount of time just seeing the flow of the whole year,” Curry told NBC Sports. “I mean, there are certain cities I love to go to. You look at New York. You look at Charlotte for me. Toronto. Mostly where family is and you try to know when you’re going to have some planning to know when you’re going to be there. Long road trips. That type of stuff. But you don’t get too deep into it.”

The NBA released the full slate last week, and it immediately jumps off the page. Golden State will play 15 back-to-backs, including five within their first 17 games.

Two separate six-game road swings await, one in November and another in March. That late-season stretch begins with a marquee matchup against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on March 15.

Curry will also have a chance to connect with family around the holidays. In December, the Warriors travel through Toronto, Brooklyn, and Charlotte, allowing the superstar to spend time at home. The Hornets game on December 31 will even double as a New Year’s Eve homecoming at Spectrum Center.

Still, Curry knows the challenge ahead.

“Very interesting and different schedule than what we’re used to, just from the patterns of what I’ve noticed over the last 16 years,” Curry said. “But everybody’s got to play 82 and we hope to be able to get through it.”
