NBA All-Star 2025 Reserves: East & West Teams, Snubs, Reactions

The reserves for the 2025 All-Star game have been announced and NBA fans are not happy with some of the results.

The full Eastern and Western Conference teams can be found below.

Seven players were named in each conference: two guards, three frontcourt players and two additional players at any position.

If you are wondering who selects the reserves, it’s the league’s head coaches.

The NBA’s 30 head coaches vote for NBA All-Star reserves, but they cannot vote for players from their own team.

So, it looks like coaches really don’t like LaMelo Ball and Trae Young.

LaMelo Ball LED All-Star East fan voting in the first, second and third returns. He was also third in player voting and ranked seventh in media voting, so not have him in the team AT ALL is seriously wild.

While Trae has been a constant snub in the All-Star event, outside of the three times he actually made the team.

NBA fans on X are not happy about their omissions.

 

Some people also argued that Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac were snubbed from the Western Team, as they have been playing very well.
