Danuel House Denies Allegations That Got Him Kicked Out of 2020 NBA Bubble

Former Rockets forward Danuel House has revisited the incident that got him kicked out of the 2020 NBA Bubble at Disney World in Orlando.

House was suspended by the NBA for violating protocols by allegedly sneaking a woman into his room, but to this day, he denies that ever happened.

“I’m getting my massage, I’m getting my routine because it’s the playoffs,” House, Jr. said on Ur.Perspectives recently. “After the prep, I got to my room; I unlock the door. This was the time when they let you blow in the Bubble. They took the marijuana to lift off. I rolled two fat Backwoods. I’m out there in the Grand Floridian, Walt Disney… That was where we was in– grown man, tiny ass room.”

“It was flies and lizards coming in there. So, I was brushing it off… I got my shirt off; I’m oily. Our team security, Brian, he’s walking with another white gentleman, and then he was like, ‘Hey, we’re about to come up there to your room…’ I’m like, ‘Oh man, they about to see my weed, they been doing this me has been blowing.’ I know they lifted, but I probably been going too hard.”

The gentlemen with Savage was part of the NBA’s security team and they told House there was an unauthorized female in the building, and they suspected she was in his room.

“He checks my room and there was no girl up in there,” House said.  “They leave my room. They search the building all day. They found the girl running throughout the course of the building. They end up catching her.”

House said his agent was contacting him asking what had happened.

“And they basically said, ‘You did it.’ I’m like, ‘How did I do it?’, House said. “They said, ‘Because you opened up your door, and word of mouth said you did it.’ Word of mouth’ I said, ‘There was nobody in my room.’ Man, I cried because I felt like I was on the verge of really making a name for myself in the bubble, like Tyler Herro did that year. I was thinking, “This is my time.”

After that House got bounced around the league and was last in Detroit in 2024. He is currently out of the NBA.
