Clippers Roasted Over ‘Insane’ Ticket Prices at New Arena

Clippers

Clippers fans have long had access to some of the most affordable tickets in the NBA.

But those days might be over, with the team revealing some rather hefty prices for opening night against the Suns on October 23, which will also mark the first-ever NBA game played at the brand-new Intuit Dome.

As of Wednesday, the most affordable tickets in the lower bowl were $360 each. The cheapest seats anywhere in the arena were $195.

The sharp price increase is a bitter pill to swallow for Clippers fans, especially considering their squad has consistently fallen short of expectations. The team also lost two big-name players over the summer, with Paul George and Russell Westbrook both packing their bags.

“As a lifelong Clippers fan, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves for the prices you have put on the tickets for opening night and just regular season games in general,” one Clippers fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

“Really sad to see,” another fan wrote. “Going to the opener was something I waited years to do. But I don’t want to support those prices. To take someone with would cost me like $500+ for the worst seats,” one fan wrote on social media.”

It remains to be seen whether these prices are the new normal or a temporary hike due to the buzz around the newly built arena.

Either way, Clippers fans certainly aren’t happy:
