Chicago Bulls Might Be About to Blow it Up Completely

Chicago

“The Bulls are in a rebuild; they just don’t realize it yet.”

Those were the words of ESPN’s Brian Windhorst just a few weeks ago.

But the Bulls’ stance might have finally changed, with Shams Charania today reporting Chicago is increasingly open to trading Zach LaVine, with teams around the league already sniffing around.

The Bulls have started the season 4-7 and are ranked in the bottom 10 league-wide in offensive and defensive rating.

To make matters worse, the Bulls’ most-used lineup has the worst offensive rating and defensive ratings among all five-man lineups to have played at least 75 minutes together this season

That lineup of Coby White, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Torrey Craig and Nikola Vucevic is getting outscored by 34.6 points per 46 minutes.

Clearly, the time has come to blow this thing up.

In terms of LaVine’s future, the Lakers, Heat and 76ers are expected to be among the teams to consider trading for him, according to Shams.
