Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar LeBron James and Golden State Warriors’ superstar Steph Curry topped Forbes’ annual list of the highest-paid NBA players for 2022.
James is projected to earn $124.5 million between on-court and off-court pay.
Curry meanwhile, is expected to earn $95.1 million, nearly $30 million less than “King James.”
James’s teammate, Russell Westbrook, took fifth place on the list; projected to earn $82.1 million.
Curry’s teammate, Klay Thompson, took sixth place; projected to earn $60.6 million.
Player salary has been on the rise in recent years.
Soon, super-max eligible players, such as Luka Doncic, will likely make upwards of $70 million in player salary for the last year of their deals.
NBA players are some of the highest-paid athletes in the world – and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon.
